One of Senator Jeffords' most recent acts of environmental leadership is his effort to clean up America's air through the Clean Power Act. Not only does the pollution continue (with a yet another spill two weeks ago), but NJ Transit refuses to clean the existing mess or even to test for the extent of the pollution. They only propose to clean within the footprint for construction, because that is the minimum required by law.
