Bank Of America Investment The South Branch Watershed Association (SBWA), in partnership with the Hunterdon County Soil Conservation District, is excited to present the Curriculum Guide and Workshop Healthy Water, Healthy People on Wednesday February 4th, 2004 from 9 am to 2 pm at the Hunterdon County Soil Conservation District. The program encourages investigation into the connections between water quality, the environment, and human health.

Men fared worse in the study than did women; women were 60% promoting behaviors than were men. The odds of participating in all four healthy behaviors were higher among more highly educated individuals than among less educated people. Not surprisingly, healthier people tended to have healthier behaviors, whereas less healthy individuals were less likely to engage in healthy lifestyles.

Investment Opportunity The Educators Guide has 25 hands-on, science-based lessons that are cross-referenced to a water testing kit and manual, web sites, and the National Education Standards for grades 6 to 12. The Test Kit Manual provides background information on 10 water quality parameters with lessons and demonstrations.
