Better known throughout the Pacific Northwest and California than in the Midwest and East, Pro Am has built a reputation on delivering a value-oriented ski boat that exceeds the expectations of frequent recreational skiers.

Bank Of America Investment Just before our fall boat tests, the parent company of Pro Am, Blue Water of Eugene, Oregon, was purchased by Kal Kustom, a well-known West Coast ski-boat distributor near San Francisco. Manufacturing facilities have since been moved to California, and Pro Am expects to introduce new models and upgrade its two-boat line for 1998.

Johnson was also selected to the AFC Pro Bowl team, and logged 156 receiving yards, most in Pro Bowl history, most in Bengals history.

Contrary to what you might think, the similarities between amateurs and pros are greater than the differences. For years, my jobs as a ski school owner, U.S. class competitors and interact with pro tour skiers. Yes, the speeds are greater and the rope is shorter for the pros. But just as noticeable are the similarities in the emotional reactions of amateur and pro groups. But it was his domination in racing that put galaxies between Stearns and every water skier who has ever competed. At one time or another he was ranked number one in the world in slalom, jump, tricks and racing. event skiers longed to be the next Chuck Stearns, he was the most decorated race champion in U.S. history. He won the prestigious Catalina Race 11 times, from the 1950s to the 1980s.
