Cisco Systems Kicks Off Its Annual "Growing with Technology Awards" Contest
Prizes Valued at up to $250,000 to Be Awarded to Small and Midsize Organizations
SAN JOSE, Calif., May 10, 2006 - Cisco Systems today announced it is taking applications for its 2006 Growing with Technology Awards. The competition recognizes small and midsize organizations that use networking technology in creative ways to promote products and services, deliver more value to customers, improve internal business operations, conduct online transactions and provide a broader geographical reach of services.The annual Cisco contest is open to companies and nonprofit organizations within the United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding the province of Quebec). To be eligible to win, organizations must employ no more than 999 employees.

Investment Opportunity Contestants in the Cisco Growing with Technology Awards contest compete for recognition and prizes in the following five categories: Sales and Marketing, Customer Relationship, Operational Excellence, Public Sector, and Nonprofit. Judges will select one grand-prize winner, two runners-up, and one honorable mention in each category.
