Banking Investment Echo Valley Ranch & Spa has been open to the public since 1995 with the Baan Thai addition completed in September 2001. We are located in the Cariboo region of British Columbia. We are 30 miles from our nearest town, Clinton, population 723. We are in a remote pollution free environment but readily accessible by road, train and/or plane. We have our own private airstrip and pick-up/drop off at all transfer points.

Alternative Investment Our signature massage is Thai massage. Our 3.5 hour treatments include herbal steam baths and herbal oil massage together with the application of the Thai herbal bag (Luk Pra Kob). All of our Thai herbal products, which are imported from Thailand, have been passed down through many generations with the wisdom contained there-in referred to as ancient knowledge. We would like to advise you at this time that we are working together with the Thailand Ministry of Health on establishing a school in North America to teach Thai massage. We believe that this is necessary since, due to the growing popularity of Thai massage, there are a growing number of unqualified practitioners that do not have the knowledge or experience to give a Thai massage. This problem also exists in Thailand and that is the reason the Thailand Ministry of Health has become directly involved and expects to License Thai massage in Thailand with-in the next two years. To earn such a license, qualified students must complete an eight hundred hour course under the supervision and direction of a qualified teacher. We are planning to make the first course in North America available in October 2002.

Pinyo Suwankiri has been awarded the Dusaldami award by the King of Thailand in recognition of being the best traditional Thai design architect in all of Thailand; other accomplishments include designs for six temples supplied to six separate countries through their various embassies; the design and supply of a palace for the King in southern Thailand; the Nikki award for his contribution to culture; the design and supply of the Ministry of Health Traditional Thai Medicine complex.
