Vignette Expands Already Significant Higher Education Presence

AUSTIN, Texas (March 15, 2005) Vignette Corp. announced today that Texas State University-San Marcos, the largest campus in the Texas State University System, and the sixth-largest campus in the state, has implemented key component of the Vignette V7 product family, including Vignette Content Management, Vignette Application Portal, Vignette Builder and Vignette Business Integration Studio to better help current students, faculty and alumni access a range of information from the academic calendar to the human resources department to the parents and alumni association.
The result is a more-informed and connected ecosystem of people interested in the university.

With more than 26,000 students and 660 faculty members, Texas State University plans to use Vignettes solutions to help nontechnical content owners across the university quickly and easily update information relative to their specific departments, while allowing the university to maintain a unified brand presence. In addition, Texas State University has plans to leverage Vignette to create a user-centric Web presence, enabling any site visitor, including students, faculty and alumni, to efficiently find the information they want.
